The day before Obama took office, our former President Bush, who had integrity and I believe the best intentions for our country, put into place as one of the last acts of his administration, a policy that protects the conscience rights of American health care workers. In other words, Bush protected people that do not want to participate in anti-life practices and they don’t have to fear legal retribution.
Cue Obama– as he poises himself to rescind the policy that is barely over a month old. Nothing this guy does surprises me. If it’s insane, anti-life, anti-family and horrible for the country, you can probably assume Obama and his cronies are involved.
Am I the only one who thinks that these crazy liberal democrats are making a huge fuss out of the economy and this stimulus bill as a smoke screen to distract America, while they try to pass stuff that will have even more of a negative impact on the country then loosing a few bucks. I don’t mean to sound blas’e about it, but seriously, financially responsible Americans should not be suffering and paying for the poor choices of other irresponsible Americans, corporations and mortgage lenders, etc. But while everyone is worrying about the big financial news stories, Obama’s crew is sneaking incredibly damaging stuff into policy, without anyone even knowing it. The nickname Slick Willy seems to fit.
The proposal to rescind the Bush rule was quietly put forward by the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department today.
An anonymous official from the HHS announced the measure this morning, saying, “We’ve been concerned that the way the Bush rule is written it could make it harder for women to get the care they need.” [
I’ m sure Bush and his camp intentionally wrote the policy that way, and it will in no way make it hard to girls seeking abortions to get them. They’re not fooling anyone.
“It’s as if the president and Congress are trying to outdo each other for the dishonor of who can forward the most extreme anti-life agenda,” said Father Euteneuer. [ick…]
“Like everyone who believes in human dignity, I am tired of these cowards in Congress trying to sneak these destructive, anti-life measures into bills that are supposed to be helping our country emerge from this recession,” said Fr. Euteneuer. “And I’m tired of President Obama’s ‘Choice for me, but not for thee’ hypocrisy. His audacity is not of hope, but of the destruction of freedom and human life.”
