<p>Personally I think it&#8217;s kind of cool when people are gutsy and stand up for what they believe in! If people want to know if the president is really a US citizen, then he should produce proof. The fact that he&#8217;s being totally aloof makes this whole thing seem sketchy.This man has every right to post whatever he wants on his own property. Anyone who disagrees has clearly not read the <a href="http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.overview.html">Constitution</a>. Read-up folks!</p>
<p>Also, why should Obama get a &#8220;get out of jail free card?&#8221; The rest of us have to product our Social Security Card, Driver&#8217;s License etc., etc., etc., whenever we get a job, why shouldn&#8217;t Obama have to for this job?</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">I&#8217;m a super huge fan of Dr. Laura. She is right-on most of the time, and I love listening to her show, reading her books, and learning from her.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">She read the following letter over the air on Thursday. I was listening to a replay of her show on satellite radio late on Thursday night on my way to the San Francisco airport to pick up my husband from his week of traveling for work. This is the sweetest recount from a woman who really understands what family means and the importance of being a parent.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I wanted to share this with all of my readers because it is important for parents to understand their proper role in the rearing of their children. Basically, they need to be there to do it, and not hand off their children to someone else.  Children need to have their Mothers home with them, and they need to know that they are loved and appreciated. They need to feel safe and secure, and those are things that they don&#8217;t get at daycare.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I am very blessed to have a husband who willingly goes out and slays dragons for me and the kids everyday, no complaints. He&#8217;s an amazing husband and an amazing Father.</p>

<p><span style="font-family:arial,verdana;font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:arial,verdana;font-size:small;"><strong>I had A Terrible Night Last Night And I Am Thankful!</strong></span> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,verdana;font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:arial,verdana;font-size:small;">Dear Dr. Laura,Yes, you read that subject correctly. I had a terrible night and I am thankful for it!! I had an epiphany last night as I cradled my 4 year old who caught a cold. But first I need to tell you about my night. My 9-month old caught a cold a few nights ago, on my birthday in fact, and kept me up all night that night. Well he&#8217;s sleeping a little better now, but he still struggles with congestion.</span></span></p>
<p>So last night he was having a hard time staying asleep because he couldn&#8217;t breathe too well through his nose. So figuring he needed some extra TLC I cradled him while he slept for about an hour. Then when my arms could not take it any more I placed him in his crib. I climbed into bed, at about midnight, thankful for sleep, as I&#8217;d had a little bit of insomnia the night before. As I started drifting off to sleep, I hear this tiny knock upon my door.</p>
<p>I dragged myself out of bed and was surprised to see my 6 year old at the door, as she of late doesn&#8217;t usually wake us up. As soon as I opened the door she began to cry. It turns out she had an accident in bed. So I told her it happens and helped her get changed. She needed some extra hugs, which I gladly gave and she thanked me for helping her. Now I must explain that my girls share a room and they had an idea a few days ago that they wanted to sleep in tents. So, we have an indoor play tent that my husband set up for my six year old, which she was sleeping in. My younger daughter sleeps in the lower bunk bed so we tucked blankets around it so she had the enclosed feeling of a tent. This was where they were sleeping when she had an accident. I learned that this play tent was not meant to hold an accident and the floor was soaked.</p>
<p>So I set my daughter up in her top bunk bed and had just got her settled when my younger daughter, who is sick, woke up saying she had an accident. Now this was weird because she was wearing a pull-up, but somehow it totally leaked and she and her bed were soaked. So I brought her to the bathroom to change her and she couldn&#8217;t stop coughing. I sat with her in the bathroom running the shower for a while. I realized she was shivering and couldn&#8217;t get warm so I brought her to bed with me (not a normal occurrence).</p>
<p>As I lay there at 2 in the morning snuggling my 4 year old, her little arms wrapped around me I realized just how lucky I am. My husband goes to slay dragons all day long so that our children can have a mommy. Their mommy could cradle and cuddle them in their need and did not have to worry about being ok to work the next day. Their mommy&#8217;s job centers around them. I am lucky because I could be there for them and I don&#8217;t have to put on a game face today. Trust me when I tell you that my husband&#8217;s job is a dragon. He is very unhappy there but he goes for us. He knows he&#8217;s lucky to have a job right now and so he swims those shark-infested waters&#8230;for our children and me.</p>
<p>My sister-in-law has her daughter in day care. A few weeks ago they all got the stomach flu. They got the flu because a little boy in the day care got sick while at day care and his mom and dad wouldn&#8217;t come get him. Work was too important. That poor boy!! When I&#8217;m sick I want to be home in bed and sometimes I still want my mommy. He was forced to stay in a stranger&#8217;s home and consequently everyone else got sick too.</p>
<p>This Thanksgiving I am thankful that I can be there for my kids and hold them when they need me, not just when it&#8217;s convenient for me. I have you know that you and my husband converted my thinking. I grew up with a working mom and took some classes, as an adult that convinced me that day care was good for kids. My husband always said, &#8220;Why would we have kids if you&#8217;re not going to raise them.&#8221; The funny thing is he is not a listener&#8230;he just knew in his heart it&#8217;s the right thing to do. I started listening to you about a year after our marriage and by the time I was pregnant with my first daughter I had decided that we needed to do whatever necessary for me to be home. We live in California and it is expensive. Most people will tell you it can&#8217;t be done on one income in this State. But it is if you are willing to sacrifice some things!! Now we don&#8217;t go out to eat, we put off house repairs and car repairs, we don&#8217;t have cable&#8230;but we do have a house of love and it shows. Our children are growing up to be very loving people and we get asked all the time what we do because our kids are so great. We decided that it&#8217;s simple &#8211; we show them with our actions that they are important and loved. Parents who work so much say they love their kids, but make them stay in day care while sick, showing their children that money and things are more important than they are. Our children don&#8217;t get a lot of new toys, but they get a lot of love.</p>
<p>So yes I am thankful for last night as it reminded me that what I do is important.</p>
<p>And by the way my night had just begun where I left off, I am a very tired but happy momma and I can proudly say, &#8220;I AM my kids&#8217; mom!!&#8221;</p>

<p>So it appears that three-term Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) is pretty tired of all of the phone calls, emails and letters that he&#8217;s receiving from his constituents who want to let their elected representative know how they feel about issues, his job performance, you name it. That&#8217;s right, this congressman wants to do away with complaining! At least for one day a year. Sounds like he wants to have an extended Thanksgiving vacation where no one calls and emails complaints, probably so that he can have an extra day off.</p>
<p>This congressman has proposed and co-authored a complete-waste-of-time bill that would make the day before Thanksgiving each year, a no-complaining day! While I love that this is apparently focused on something other then helping Obama destroy our country and micro manage our health care, is this really what an elected official, on the public&#8217;s dole, needs to to be focusing on?</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">It always astounds me why people so quickly discredit decades of research, and seem to simply want to ignore the status of our current society. Examine the info below for yourself and see if you can figure out why our so-called President and his cronies don&#8217;t want to preserve marriage, or help people really get out of poverty.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I mean, he doesn&#8217;t want to preserve any of our other rights and liberties, so it&#8217;s not surprising that he doesn&#8217;t care about preserving marriage either. Marriage and all it stands for and does for society is so contrary to what Obamination is trying to accomplish. If you haven&#8217;t noticed yet, then you should start to look around at the insane policies he&#8217;s trying to pass. Obama and his cohorts want American&#8217;s currently in poverty to remain there, and those who aren&#8217;t, well, he&#8217;s certainly helping us on our way. Poverty = reliance on the government, and a loss of freedom. The more people the government has to take care of, the larger it needs to be; theoretically speaking. Obama&#8217;s administration is trying very hard to make sure that marriages don&#8217;t succeed and that people &#8220;need&#8221; the government. Everyone&#8217;s probably heard the statistic that says that the number one reason for divorce is money. Well, forcing economic hardship and stress on to practically every American family is certainly a way to destroy them. Very clever Obama&#8230;..</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><a href="%20A%20Memo%20to%20President-elect%20Obama">The Heritage Foundation</a> examined the relationship between poverty and marriage and has drafted up a little memo to our President. Here are some highlights from their Memo:</p>
<p><span id="more-1046"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>The decline of marriage is a major cause of child poverty. Roughly two-thirds of poor children live in single-parent homes. Marital collapse is also a major contributor to welfare dependence: Each year, government spends over $250 billion for means-tested welfare benefits for single parents.</p>
<p>When compared to similar children raised by two married biological parents, children raised in single-parent homes are more likely to fail in school, abuse drugs or alcohol, commit crimes, become pregnant as teens, and suffer from emotional and behavioral problems. Such children are also more likely to end up on welfare or in jails when they become adults.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So, the President&#8217;s goal, being that he is a communist dictator and at the very least, a progressive, who thinks that social programs are a must-have in this country, doesn&#8217;t this make perfect sense for why he doesn&#8217;t support marriage? Divorce can = poverty, and a greater dependence on the government for everything. Look at that quote above &#8211; 1) Failing school = children who are uneducated and reliant on the system because they can&#8217;t qualify for or advance in a job, 2). drug and alcohol abuse = people who again can&#8217;t get or keep a job, people who have children that they can&#8217;t take care of, so the government again, comes in to rescue these people, 3). criminals = crowded jails and more people the government gets to take care of (and if you&#8217;ve heard of Obama&#8217;s latest idea, he wants to let the jailed criminals work for ACORN doing social projects and whatever, just want we don&#8217;t need running our streets), 4). pregnant teens = more abortions, more unwed mothers, more girls who don&#8217;t finish school, more people who can&#8217;t get or keep a good paying job, more people who can&#8217;t take care of their own children, more dependence on the government, 5). emotional and behavioral problems = children who have a hard time in school, children who don&#8217;t finish school so they either can&#8217;t get or keep a job, or they are reliant on more government programs&#8230;.. So, of course these children are more likely to end up on welfare or in jails&#8230;.right where the current administration wants them!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Think about it folks!!!Marriage and healthy families and children are the backbone of society, and a threat to Obama&#8217;s plan for &#8220;change.&#8221; That is exactly what the government doesn&#8217;t want, a strong society. Strong educated people who can stand up and revolt against them,  and people who understand the rights written into the Constitution&#8230; why they&#8217;d all be out of a job.</p>
<blockquote><p>Revitalized marriage can have a powerful impact in reducing poverty in low-income communities. For example, if poor women who have children out of wedlock were married to the actual fathers of their children, nearly two-thirds would be lifted out of poverty immediately.<a name="_ftnref2" href="http://www.heritage.org/Research/Family/sr0045.cfm#_ftn2">[2]</a> Because the decline in marriage is linked to many other social problems, an increase in healthy marriage would to lead to a long-term drop in those problems as well.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The Memo goes on to talk about how certain policies could help strengthen marriage and reduce out-of-wedlock pregnancies. But these policies must be effective, and in order to be, they must be based on facts. Here are a few tidbits from the Memo&#8217;s Facts:</p>
<blockquote><p><em><strong>Fact:</strong></em> Half of the women who have children out of wedlock are cohabiting with the father at the time of birth; 75 percent are in a romantic relationship with the father.<a name="_ftnref3" href="http://www.heritage.org/Research/Family/sr0045.cfm#_ftn3">[3]</a> Policymakers seeking to reduce out-of-wedlock births must look far beyond teen pregnancy.</p>
<p><strong><em>Fact: </em></strong>To a significant degree, the decision to have a child outside of marriage is a deliberate choice for these women.</p>
<p><strong><em>Fact:</em></strong> Lack of access to birth control is not a significant factor contributing to &#8220;unintended pregnancy&#8221; or non-marital births. A recent survey of low-income women who had had a non-marital pregnancy found that only 1 percent reported that lack of access to birth control played a role in the pregnancy.<a name="_ftnref4" href="http://www.heritage.org/Research/Family/sr0045.cfm#_ftn4">[4]</a></p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Doesn&#8217;t the Obamination Administration want us to believe that we need more planned parenthood services, we need more access to birth control and more sex education in our public schools?</p>
<blockquote><p><strong><em>Fact:</em></strong> Out-of-wedlock childbearing is concentrated among low-income, less educated men and women. In general, the women most likely to have a child without being married are those who have the least ability to support a family by themselves.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">And that&#8217;s exactly the way our current government wants it to be. They are focusing their &#8220;birth control&#8221; campaign to the women who aren&#8217;t really the bulk of the problem, thus allowing the real problem, unwed women (in their 20&#8217;s) ,to perpetuate even further, which keeps the welfare-recipient/reliance-on-the-government total growing.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">If the government really has to have social policies, most of which are total crap and ineffective, why not try something like this:</p>
<blockquote><p>Government should help low-income couples to move toward more prosperous lives by providing such men and women with education that increases their understanding of the strong link between marriage and better life outcomes and that equips them to make critical life decisions concerning childbearing and family formation more wisely.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">In the &#8220;Audacity of Hope,&#8221; Obama writes:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;most people agree that neither federal welfare programs nor the tax code should penalize married couples.&#8221;<a name="_ftnref7" href="http://www.heritage.org/Research/Family/sr0045.cfm#_ftn7"></a></p>
<p>Again, you are right. Given the private and social benefits of marriage, it is absurd for the welfare industry to penalize marriage. Yet that is exactly what welfare does.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Obama&#8217;s policies on taxes, health care, and stimulus money are also detrimental to marriage and our freedoms. But the welfare state is just as much so:</p>
<blockquote><p>Specifically, welfare programs create disincentives to marriage because benefits are reduced as a family&#8217;s income rises. A mother will receive far more from welfare if she is single than if she has an employed husband in the home. For many low-income couples, marriage means a reduction in government assistance and an overall decline in the couple&#8217;s joint income. Marriage penalties occur in many means-tested programs such as food stamps, public housing, Medicaid, day care, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. The welfare system should be overhauled to reduce such counterproductive incentives.</p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align:justify;">If the President was to really support marriage, and the policies and issues that would strengthen and promote marriage, then perhaps society would see a great change. However, that&#8217;s not his plan. Marriage is contrary to what Obama&#8217;s administration is trying to accomplish, which is the destruction of marriage, family, the Constitution and eliminating all of our freedoms.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Following a statement declaring our rights to govern ourselves and stating where those rights come from, the Declaration of Independence enumerates a long list of grievances which the people had against their government in England.  I think that it is time that we write another list of grievances which we, the people, have against our current government.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I have begun the list here with a few of my items.  I know that this is but a small fraction.  If you have items feel free to add them by responding in the comments.  Perhaps we will then compile them in the form of a petition to our government and send it around for signatures.  Add your items to the list!!</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Grievances which the people of United States have against their Government:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>It has      extorted personal property in order to give it to others through taxation      for the intent of redistributing wealth.</li>
<li>It has      perpetrated the largest Ponzi scheme in history in the name of Social      Security by extorting funds from the population claiming these would be      held for retirement all the while absconding these funds to squander on      political pork projects to enhance its own power while expecting future      generations to cover the void.</li>
<li>Members      of all branches have violated their oath to uphold and defend the      constitution by enacting and signing laws that are not constitutional.</li>
<li>The      executive branch has appointed officers without the consent and approval      of the Senate.</li>
<li>The      executive branch has initiated legislation, an action <strong>not </strong>enumerated to      the executive branch.</li>
<li>It has      established bureaucracies with authority beyond any single branch of      government,  ie. the separation of      powers enumerated in the constitution has been ignored and a single      bureaucracy has been empowered to make rules, enforce rules and levy      punishments without due process.       Numerous bureaucracies have been established with this power.</li>
<li>It has      usurped the rights of states by subverting the interstate commerce clause. {This is a biggie folks&#8230;the government has gotten away with so much  nonsense just by purporting that it falls under this clause}.</li>
<li>It has      usurped the rights of states by assuming upon itself powers not enumerated      in the constitution which are therefore “reserved to the states and to the      people”.</li>
<li>The      Legislative Branch has allowed the Executive branch to usurp powers from      it.</li>
<li>The      Judicial Branch has usurped Legislative powers.</li>
<li>It has      allowed the establishment of a central bank, not authorized by the      constitution.</li>
<li>It has      violated the constitution by subverting personal property rights through      enacting environmental laws which prohibit the free use of ones own      property.</li>

<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Insights into The Declaration of Independence</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">If you have read the Declaration of Independence then you know that in the second paragraph it states:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">There are so many topics that could be discussed based on just these two sentences alone.  But what I would like to point out is that <strong>our liberty comes from our Creator, not from our Government!!</strong> There are many in our government that would have us believe that there is no Creator, in which instance then, our Creator could not have endowed us with Life and Liberty.  And it follows then that these things must come from our Government which becomes the benefactor of all things.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The second sentence states that <strong>Government derives its powers from us, the people.</strong> You can argue that if our Creator did not give us our rights and liberty and that they actually come from our Government then powers must flow from the Government to the People as well and not the other way around.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">You can see the motivation of our government to discredit the existence of a Creator.  If they can do that then they discredit the authority of the People.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">When government receives it powers from the people it acts as a limiting force upon government.  If government receives its authority from the people then government can not possess any authority that the people themselves do not possess.  The people can not grant authority to the government that they themselves do not have to grant.  Yet we see government exercising authority which the people do not have.  When you see this happening then you know that government is getting out of control.  For example, people do not have the authority to take what belongs to someone else and give it to another or to keep it for themselves.  Yet you see this happening all the time by government in the form of redistribution of wealth and in many of the environmental laws which restrict the use of private property.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">When we allow the government to destroy our Creator we are simply allowing them to discredit the source of our life, liberty and right to pursue happiness and our right to exercise authority over our own government.  Everyone has the right to choose but do not be deceived by the rhetoric of the day.  By denying nature’s God you deny your right to freedom and lay your fate at the hands of a government that is swiftly becoming tyrannical.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">I&#8217;ll have more political insights on Monday, but for now&#8230;. I have just one question&#8230;</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">When liberal haters of all things conservative and truth-based take their time reading my blog, and writing nonsense in the comments section, (half of which I delete with out reading), and then hop over to their own blog and write an entire post about me and my post, and my views, and my stories, does that make me famous in the blogosphere?</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">Sure seems like it&#8230; they say there&#8217;s no such thing as bad press!</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">I can certainly tell you that I have better things to do then stalk around crazy liberal blogs where the blogger writes things totally contrary to what I believe in. Who has time for that? Besides, I have no interest in what liberal bloggers have to say.  But they seem to take quite an interest in us conservatives. Is it kind of like them spying on the opposing team&#8217;s strategy session before a big game? But</span><span style="color:#466aa4;"> usually all they can come up with is &#8220;journalista is a bad writer&#8221; (like I care what you think&#8230;) and &#8220;her post infuriated me (lol&#8230; maybe you should look at the facts and stop getting so &#8220;infuriated&#8221;) </span><span style="color:#466aa4;">I don&#8217;t really get it, but they continue to cyber-stalk us and our friends, they get infuriated by our posts which I think is totally hilarious, and they leave ridiculous comments, and try to derail the post topic discussion; and then go bad-mouth us on their own blog or their liberal friends&#8217; blogs, and waste even more of their time talking about us over there (sorry, totally a run-on sentence&#8230;.is that &#8220;bad writing?&#8221;).<br />
</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">If you&#8217;ll notice, liberal-haters-of-conservative-truth can never intelligently argue the real issues, the only thing they can do is launch wanna-be personal attacks and say how insane we are. They always seem never to &#8220;get&#8221; what exactly we are really posting about, and instead extrapolate all sorts of other ideas for what they think or want the post to be about. Their arguments aren&#8217;t based in reality or on facts, it&#8217;s all emotional and completely void of logical reasoning and intelligent political theory. Read all you want, comment all you want, just know that we totally know your game.<br />
</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;"><strong>I ask my liberal readers&#8230;where do your liberal values come from? What are they based on?</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">For me,  my conservative values and beliefs come from my LDS religion, my views on economics and my conservative political ideology. All three of these complement and support each other. I&#8217;m not all over the map, I don&#8217;t blow around in the wind, I don&#8217;t sit on the fence,  I don&#8217;t change my mind from policy to social program and back again. I am not confused wondering what to vote on this or that , because I have my belief system solidly in place.<br />
</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#466aa4;">So, thanks for the support from all of my conservative, marriage and family, and political blogger friends! You guys are the best. I know most of us have been under attack and it doesn&#8217;t really phase us in the least. And for all of the liberal cyber-stalkers and journalista haters&#8230;. I&#8217;m not writing for you. I&#8217;m writing for people who are actually looking for facts and information, and people who want to learn about conservative views and values. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of your political views, just keep an open mind and you might actually learn something new.</span></p>

<p>Just what we need, a Spanish version of ACORN, and Obama telling them how to volunteer aka organize!  I have to say that it&#8217;s amazing that I came out of the Liberal California State University system with a degree in Political Science, unscathed! But in all of my polic sci classes I never once had a lecture on community organizing. In fact, I had never even heard of it until Obama came on the scene. Now we have ACORN. My eyes are wide open! I can not believe that the President is confused about exactly what language we speak in this country&#8230;. I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s not confused, but he definitely likes to cater to illegal immigrants, give them our money and free health care, while the hardworking and responsible Americans foot the bill for all of it.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I have to admit, I don&#8217;t mind them being here. I just think that if they work, they should pay taxes like everyone else. And if they aren&#8217;t legal, the government shouldn&#8217;t be footing their bill. Living in S. California it&#8217;s nice to have someone to clean my house and keep up the yard and help me flip my houses for a really cheap price, and most illegal immigrants that I have  met are really sweet, but I also don&#8217;t think that my tax dollars need to go to individuals who broke the law and came to this country illegally. If they&#8217;re here illegally, and don&#8217;t pay taxes, then they should not benefit from those of us who do put money into the system&#8230;I mean, that have our money stolen from us by the government and put into the system.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">I believe, as I do about all political things, that the government needs to stick to the writings of the Constitution and that government should be limited. Our governments, state and federal need to stay out of the babysitting-illegal-immigrants business. If health care is going to be provided to non-tax paying individuals, then we need to let capitalism take over. Free health care and other social programs need to come from private charity organizations. They can open and run and fund free clinics and if you don&#8217;t <a href="http://thejournalistachronicle.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/free_sign_med.gif"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1819" title="free_sign_med" src="http://thejournalistachronicle.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/free_sign_med.gif?w=400&#038;h=286" alt="free_sign_med" width="400" height="286" /></a>have insurance, and if you&#8217;re here illegally, and you get sick, you can seek medical care from a private run and funded facility. I&#8217;m not saying we shouldn&#8217;t be charitable, I&#8217;m just saying that the organizations that my money goes to should be MY choice, NOT Obama&#8217;s.Those who believe in giving illegal immigrants heath care and other services, should be able to donate their money to those causes. Everyone should not have money stolen for the causes that line the pockets of the politicians friends and eventually their own pockets as well.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">What&#8217;s wrong with that? Here is my theory, and that of my family: <span id="more-1816"></span>Obama is a communist dictator in disguise right? Yes! So, in order to have us all under the government&#8217;s control, they need more people dependent upon them. How do they make us dependent? Make us broke, jobless, and taxed to death and utilizing their social programs.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Because we are taxed to death, we have little discretionary income, and thus less and less of our personal money is being given to charity organizations, the exact same organizations that would be providing free health care to the poor and illegal immigrants. Since non-profit and charity organizations aren&#8217;t receiving as much in donations as they could or possibly have in the past, that leaves only one organization to provide these services&#8230;.the government, how convenient huh? They provide these services with stolen money, money they stole from us. See, the government wants to have their hands in all of these pots, have control over everything, and they are forcing us to pay for it, all the while they reduce our freedoms and increase our dependency on them.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Don&#8217;t you think that if you want to give your money to a non-profit/charity illegal immigrant health care facility, that should be your choice? Yeah, it should, but it isn&#8217;t because the President of the United States is stealing our money and forcing us to pay for all of these ridiculous, unnecessary and debilitating social programs.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Billions of dollars are Western Union-ed and bank transferred to Mexico each year. That money is not staying here, it is not being taxed, and yet they use our social services, our education system, our health care and crowd up our jails, and in fact are being encouraged to do so by our own government {well, maybe not the jail part}.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The money immigrants send back to their own country is called &#8220;remittances.&#8221; The following information is provided on the <a href="http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/immigrants_send_money_home.html">US Immigration Support</a>&#8217;s website.</p>
<blockquote><p>Last year Mexico received more than<strong> $17  billion</strong> in remittances. The amount of remittances in Mexico exceeds the amount  of foreign direct investment in the country.</p>
<p>The majority of the remittances are sent using money transfer companies, but now  commercial banks are introducing similar programs which are gaining popularity.  Banks like Citibank have started forming partnerships with foreign banks. They  have also made it easier for <a href="http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/illegalimmigrants.html">immigrants</a> to open bank accounts by presenting a  consulate identification card. At Citibank a remittance of up to $3,000 can be  sent for $5 which is significantly lower than what money transfer companies are  charging. Bank of America has also introduced a similar program called SafeSend.  With this program, remittances can be sent to Mexico at no cost. Customers can transfer money  from their checking account and within a few hours the funds are available for  pick up in Mexico. Another option is to transfer money to an account of one of  Bank of America’s partner banks in Mexico and the funds are available the  following day. The customer can simply make a phone call to the bank and request  the remittance to be sent. In the process of introducing such programs many  banks are hoping to gain new <a href="http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/illegal_immigration.html">immigrant</a> customers who currently have no bank  accounts in the United States. The banks are offering perks like giving out  international phone cards or financial education classes to attract  immigrants.  Other financial institutions like the Federal Reserve also would like to see a  greater number of immigrants opening bank accounts so that they can take  advantage of services offered by banks and start establishing accounts.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>However, one barrier that immigrants often face is that some banks require a <a href="http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/social_security.html">Social Security</a> number in order to open a  banking account.</p></blockquote>
<p>No worries there, thanks to Wells Fargo {as reported <a href="http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/000911.html">here</a>}:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>It began with Wells Fargo working closely with the Mexican government. <p style="text-align:justify;">If the $17 Billion that illegal immigrants send to Mexico each year was taxed by our government, perhaps these people could start contributing to all of the social services they use. It&#8217;s pretty clear that they want illegal immigrants involved in US banking system, so clearly there is a way to track and tax most of that money. The government even has a website for immigration support. I can&#8217;t get an SBA Loan, but I could get more help and support if I was an illegal alien, sneaking into this country, breaking the law,using a Mexican ID card to get a bank account and then usurping American social services. Nice! So basically our current government leaders are an  &#8220;Obamination&#8221; and treat the free-loader illegal immigrants better then they do real Americans.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">So, the government is trying to convince everyone how much they want to help Americans huh? How helpful was this?</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So I had an interesting discussion with my brothers and my Dad today. My Dad has this friend, well actually he&#8217;s never met her, but my brother has. She answered the door naked one day when my little bro went over to her apartment to check out an electrical issue. Interesting meeting&#8230;&#8230; Anyway&#8230;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">See, she used to be a tenant of my Dad&#8217;s in one of his apartment units. Well, she couldn&#8217;t make rent, she moved out, found a cheaper place in town, and one day sent my Dad a letter saying that her building had been condemned by the city, and that she had been evicted and had to move by last Sunday. So here&#8217;s how the story goes from there:<span id="more-1807"></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">This lady is divorced, on Social inSecurity, still lives with her ex-husband because he is on Social inSecurity  too and they have to share expenses as a means to get by on what little they have. So, my Dad tells this lady that he has rental property in Indianapolis, and if she can get there, he will let her rent one of his houses. He tells her he won&#8217;t charge her for the first little while, and he also won&#8217;t charge her a security deposit. The lady decides that&#8217;s what they will do. She&#8217;s anxious to move away and so they pack up their truck, which the husband drives, she&#8217;s driving the car, and they head east to Indianapolis. She has just enough money for gas based on her mileage figures and  she then forwards her SS checks to the new Indy address.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">This husband guy has some mental problems and at one point, leaves her at a rest stop in Denver and takes off in the truck with all the stuff. That was the last my Dad heard from her, until today, when she calls from Topeka, KS. Apparently she and the husband meet up again somehow and make their way to KS, where he all of a sudden goes missing&#8230;.for the past 4 days. The lady files a missing persons report with the police, we never figured out how she lost track of him or if he left again or what, but this woman now has the car and the truck and has been sleeping in a Home Depot parking lot and using their bathroom and phone. The story just goes down hill from there, she can&#8217;t find any help, she miscalculated on the gas money situation, she&#8217;s stranded and probably scared, and waiting for the police to find her husband. That&#8217;s all we know for now&#8230;if anyone&#8217;s interested I&#8217;ll post an update when I get one, but for the point of this post&#8230;..</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So this all started by the  Big Bad Pretend-to-Help-Everyone Government; and what do they do with our tax dollars? First they use them to have lazy government workers stalk around the city all day looking for building code violations and usually harassing property owners unnecessarily. Then they waste more  of the tax payer&#8217;s  money paying these people to write up and issue citations to property owners explaining what&#8217;s wrong with their crappy building or house. The citation goes on to say that the owner has until a certain date to fix said building code violations or else you&#8217;ll get fined, etc., etc., etc. (Oh by the way,  Salt Lake City cited my Dad because the lid wasopen on the complex dumpster, apparently that&#8217;s a code violation. What? Now property owners need to hire a dumpster monitor to make sure the tenants close the lid every time they dump their trash? Nice&#8230;because that&#8217;s probably what it will take. What kind of code violation is that anyway?) So now you see the city&#8217;s nonsense in checking for &#8220;code violations.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">When the code violations are so egregious, (according to the government), they will condemn your property. Then you have to evict all of your tenants and tear down the property, or they will do it for you.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">This all goes back to the government, city, state, or federal, staying out of our business. Here you have a building that you own, that nice people live in, and here comes the government saying that people have to move. Why should they have to move if they are perfectly happy living a a building that just happens to be under the city standards. So what if the windows don&#8217;t have screens, or the door doesn&#8217;t have a separate dead bolt (just some codes in CA for example)? Isn&#8217;t that the choice of any American to make, about where and in what conditions they live? Yeah, it should be our choice, not the government&#8217;s. If the property owner doesn&#8217;t make certain repairs according to the city&#8217;s rules, but there are still tenants that want to live there, then that should be absolutely no business of the government&#8217;s.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So now we have this lady, (along with who knows how many other people) who can&#8217;t  find affordable housing, she&#8217;s homeless, stranded and scared. Thanks big government for &#8220;helping&#8221; and forcing her landlord to bulldoze his building, and put all of his tenants out on the street. But the thing is, it wasn&#8217;t just the owner&#8217;s building that was destroyed, it was this lady&#8217;s home, along with other families&#8217; homes as well. The owner bulldozing his building and being forced to pay taxes on an empty, non-income-producing, lot or building new apartments that will be way too expensive for the former tenants, or anyone in their income bracket, is not productive, or helping anyone.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So in the government&#8217;s twisted way of allegedly &#8220;helping&#8221; people, they really aren&#8217;t. This scenario is just another way the government is trying to control our lives under the guise of &#8220;helping&#8221; us. I think it&#8217;s pretty typical of the kind of &#8220;help&#8221; the government purports to give people. How did they help my Dad&#8217;s friend? First she had a place to live for the $500 per month including utilities that she could afford, and now she&#8217;s homeless, stranded and hopeless. This folks,  is representative of kind of  environment that Obama and his cronies are trying to create for us. They want us to be dependent on the government and that gives them the control. They want more people on welfare, more people utilizing their social services and more people giving up their ability to choose for themselves. See the connection to Socialism here?</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">So I say this building code, bulldozing, homeless deal stacks right up there with Obama and his cronies purporting to want to help you with your end of life issues, and your lack of health care situation, and oh yeah that SBA loan thing, not a chance!!!</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">{Post Edit} I am in no way promoting slumlords or anything of the like, I am however, trying to demonstrate how the government is always trying to take away our liberties. They want to tell us where we can and can&#8217;t live.  They want to impose ridiculous codes and fines on property owners. All as a way to infringe on our freedom and liberties. This post is a demonstration of just another way that the so-called helpful government  makes a bad situation even worse for people.</p>
